Since 1997, the Mussel and Cockle Festival, with the collaboration of the Vilanova de Arousa City Council, has paid tribute to nearly 80 personalities from different fields (institutional, cultural, sports, social…) with the event’s Gold and Diamond Badges. In this way, the work carried out in favour of the promotion and dissemination of the star produce of this event is recognized, as well as the sectors of the sea and canning, directly linked to them, and also for their contribution to improving Vilanova society in different areas.
