The “Festa do Mexillón e do Berberecho” of Vilanova de Arousa has completely updated its image for its 30th year, with the presentation of a new corporate identity.
In this way, the festival, one of Galicia’s most important food events, has completely redesigned its brand with the creation of a new logo, which captures in greater detail the essence of the event.
It is an isotype whose iconography is made up of the abstract shape of a mussel and a cockle, merging both elements with the letters “O” in the festival’s name.
With this new image, the Vilanova Town Council wanted to focus on the importance of the event’s two star products: mussels and cockles. Two products that are part of Vilanova de Arousa’s identity, also included in the logo, to distinguish the location of the event and the uniqueness of this food festival linked to the municipal district.
This new image will also feature prominently on the event’s social media, recently created to promote the festival’s program of activities and all the details related to this not-to-be-missed event centred on the town’s seafood produce.
