Steamed Cockles

Ingredients (for 4 people):

  • 400 gr fresh cockles
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 bay leaves

Preparation

  • Wash and clean the cockles. Place them in a saucepan with the bay leaves.
  • Cover the saucepan and cook over medium heat for a few minutes, just enough to open.
  • Serve and we can season with a squeeze of lemon.
