Whether you prefer a quiet and relaxed trip among the mussel platforms of the Ría de Arousa or if you feel like doing some sport, Vilanova de Arousa offers you different possibilities. Here are some of them:

Cycling and hiking routes
In addition to being able to rent mountain bikes to tour the area in a different way, Vilanova de Arousa also has an approved Hiking Route (valid for mountain biking): the PR G 126 Route of the viewpoints of Lobeira-Faro das Lúas.
This route starts from the parish of András and extends just over 4 kilometres. It is an easy route – increasing by height by up to 231 meters – and the route lasts about an hour walking. The main attractions of this approved hiking route is the enjoyment of the views from the viewpoints of Lobeira and Faro das Lúas.
Several mountain bike routes also pass through Vilanova featuring a tour of different parishes, as well as offering you the possibility of getting to know the neighbouring municipalities, such as A Illa de Arousa, Vilagarcía de Arousa or Cambados. The possibilities are endless!
