Collaborators
The Mussel and Cockle Festival is possible thanks to the collaboration and involvement of different organizations and entities of the municipality and its immediate area of influence. Among them, the following stand out:
Nuestra Señora del Carmen Association
The group in charge of organizing the program together with the rest of the collaborators. The group was founded in the year XXXX and, currently, has XXX associated people.
Vilanova de Arousa Town Council
in addition to the organization of the award ceremony of the Gold and Diamond Badges, it also collaborates in the implementation of the different musical performances, as well as other activities.
“A Pasatoriza” Fishermen's Guild
It is in charge of both the traditional procession in honour of the Virgen del Carmen (along with the acts before and after the sea procession of the image of the saint around the estuary) and providing produce for the food tent that is used to prepare the different dishes that are sold during the festival.
